Editorial Responsibilities and Independence

The editorial team is responsible for assessing manuscript suitability, appointing appropriately qualified independent reviewers, evaluating reviewer recommendations, and making decisions based on scholarly quality, ethical integrity, and relevance to the journal's scope.

For community engagement manuscripts, editorial assessment emphasizes identified community needs, intervention quality, meaningful participation, transparent evaluation methods, evidence-supported outcomes, and practical implications.

Editors are expected to maintain confidentiality, declare and manage conflicts of interest, and exercise editorial judgment independently of financial, personal, and institutional interests.
