1. Open Access Policy

Jurnal Pengabdian dan Pengembangan Masyarakat Indonesia (JPPMI) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal that provides immediate and unrestricted access to its published articles.

Readers may access, read, download, and share published articles without subscription charges or institutional access fees, subject to the applicable copyright and licensing conditions.

JPPMI supports the dissemination of scholarly knowledge, community engagement experiences, and evidence-informed practices to academics, practitioners, policymakers, community organizations, and the public.

2. Access to Published Articles

3. Creative Commons License

Unless otherwise stated on an individual article, JPPMI publishes articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) .

This license permits readers to copy, redistribute, adapt, remix, and build upon published material for non-commercial purposes, provided that its licensing conditions are followed.

CC BY-NC-SA 4.0

Attribution • NonCommercial • ShareAlike

The applicable license and copyright information should be clearly identified on each article's publication page and in its published full-text version.

4. Conditions for Reuse

Attribution

Users must acknowledge the original authors and source, provide a reference to the article DOI or URL and the applicable license, and indicate whether changes were made.

NonCommercial

Reuse under this license must not be primarily intended for commercial advantage or monetary compensation. Uses outside the license terms require separate permission from the relevant copyright holder.

ShareAlike

Adaptations or modified versions must be distributed under the same license or an officially compatible license, in accordance with the Creative Commons conditions.

No Additional Restrictions

Reusers must not impose additional legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from exercising the rights permitted by the license.

5. Copyright and Author Rights

Authors retain copyright in their published work. By agreeing to publication, authors grant JPPMI the right of first publication and the necessary non-exclusive rights to publish, disseminate, preserve, and make the article available.

Authors may share and reuse their articles in accordance with the applicable publication agreement, Creative Commons license, and any relevant third-party rights.

Payment of an Article Processing Charge, where applicable, does not constitute an exclusive transfer of copyright to the journal or publisher.

6. Third-Party Material and Community Privacy

The article's Creative Commons license applies only to material that the authors or journal have the authority to license.

Third-party photographs, illustrations, instruments, trademarks, and other materials may be subject to separate copyright or permission requirements.

Open access does not remove the obligation to protect personal information, obtain appropriate consent for identifiable community participants, or respect confidentiality and other applicable legal and ethical restrictions.

7. Licensing of Earlier Publications

The license displayed on an individual published article determines the reuse conditions applicable to that version of record.

Changes to the journal's current licensing policy do not automatically replace a different license previously applied to an article. Any material licensing correction must be documented transparently and made with the necessary authorization.

Open Access Commitment

JPPMI supports open scholarly communication by providing free public access to published articles while respecting author rights, copyright, licensing conditions, and the ethical protection of participating communities.
