The scope of JHNR spans a broad spectrum of scholarly inquiries, encompassing research articles and scientific thought results in the fields of: Health and Medical Sciences, Public Health, Nutrition Science, Food Science and Technology, Midwifery and Women's Health, Nursing Science and Practice, as well as Pharmacy and Pharmacology.

All manuscripts submitted to JHNR, including those invited by the Editor, undergo a rigorous and impartial evaluation process. The journal utilizes a Double-Blind Peer-Review process, wherein manuscripts are independently reviewed by at least two external experts and editorial board members.

  • Plagiarism Screening: Prior to the review stage, all submissions are rigorously inspected using Similarity Check powered by Turnitin to ensure originality and academic integrity.
  • Efficiency: JHNR is committed to rapid knowledge dissemination, maintaining an average time to first decision of 3 days, a review time of 20-30 days, and a total turnaround time from submission to acceptance of 30-50 days.
  • Acceptance Rate: Demonstrating our commitment to quality, the journal maintains a competitive acceptance rate of 48% (with a 39% rejection rate).

Publication Ethics and AI Policy

As an open-access publisher, JHNR strictly adheres to the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing developed by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), DOAJ, OASPA, and WAME.

Generative AI Policy: Following global best practices, authors may utilize AI-assisted technologies for manuscript preparation (e.g., language improvement) and non-data artwork (e.g., graphical abstracts), provided full disclosure is given. However, the use of Generative AI to create, alter, or manipulate scientific images, research data, or core analyses is strictly prohibited to preserve the sanctity of scientific evidence.
