Refund Policy
Transparent rules for APC payments, withdrawal, and administrative payment discrepancies.
The Journal of Health and Nutrition Research (JHNR) is published by CV Media Publikasi Cendekia Indonesia (MPCI). This policy governs refund requests relating to Article Processing Charge (APC) payments.
Last Updated: 16 October 2026
1. General Fee Arrangement
JHNR does not charge a submission fee. The standard APC is Rp 3,500,000 per accepted article, payable only after formal acceptance. Authors whose manuscripts are rejected before acceptance are not required to pay an APC.
2. Withdrawal After Acceptance
Where an author voluntarily withdraws an accepted manuscript before publication and the APC has already been paid, the APC is generally non-refundable, in accordance with the journal's published payment conditions.
Such requests are assessed separately from any questions about research integrity. Manuscript withdrawal must be confirmed by the editorial office.
3. Research Integrity or Production Problems
If serious scientific concerns, data problems, ethical issues, or other circumstances arise after acceptance, the editorial office may suspend production or reassess the manuscript.
Any associated APC question will be considered under the applicable payment terms and relevant circumstances. Scientific decisions are independent of financial considerations.
4. Administrative Payment Discrepancies
Authors may request administrative review of an apparent duplicate payment, incorrect invoice amount, payment made in error, or another documented transaction discrepancy.
Where an administrative error is verified, an appropriate correction or refund may be authorized by the publisher in accordance with applicable payment rules and law. Such requests are not treated as ordinary voluntary manuscript withdrawal.
Submission of a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.
5. Request and Review Procedure
Authors should send the request to the journal administration at editormpci@gmail.com, with the following information:
- Manuscript ID and article title.
- Name and email of the corresponding author.
- Invoice number and date, if applicable.
- Payment date, amount, and proof of payment.
- A concise explanation of the request.
The publisher or authorized financial administrator will review the supporting evidence and communicate the outcome through an official channel. Sensitive banking information should not be sent unless specifically requested through a secure process.
6. Editorial Independence
Refund requests, payment disputes, and other financial matters must not be used to influence peer-review recommendations or the scientific assessment of a manuscript.
