About the Journal
JAMU-Health – Journal of Advances in Medicinal Foods, Human Nutrition and Health is a peer-reviewed, international, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research at the intersection of nutrition, food science, and health. The journal provides a platform for scientists, researchers, and practitioners to disseminate innovative findings on how medicinal foods, traditional remedies (such as Jamu), and nutritional strategies contribute to the promotion of human health, the prevention of disease, and overall development across the lifespan.
Focus
The primary focus of the journal is on the rigorous scientific investigation and validation of dietary interventions. We prioritize novel research that elucidates the mechanisms of action, efficacy, safety, and public health implications of medicinal foods, functional ingredients, and specific nutrients. The journal aims to bridge traditional knowledge with modern scientific evidence to advance the fields of human nutrition and health development.
Scope
The journal invites submissions of original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and short communications covering, but not limited to, the following topics:
