Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian minuman kacang hijau dengan penambahan jahe merah terhadap kadar kolesterol total pada pasien wanita hiperkolesterolemia. Penelitian menggunakan desain kuasi-eksperimen dengan pendekatan non-equivalent control group. Sebanyak 30 responden dibagi ke dalam kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol. Kelompok perlakuan mendapatkan minuman kacang hijau dengan jahe merah (250 ml) setiap pagi selama 14 hari, sedangkan kelompok kontrol tidak mendapat intervensi. Pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol total dilakukan dengan metode Point of Care Testing (POCT) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Analisis statistik menggunakan paired t-test dan independent t-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya penurunan signifikan kadar kolesterol total pada kelompok perlakuan dari 240,33 ± 24,84 mg/dL menjadi 207,07 ± 31,24 mg/dL (p = 0,000), dengan selisih rata-rata 33,27 mg/dL. Sebaliknya, kelompok kontrol mengalami peningkatan kadar kolesterol total dari 246,47 ± 28,65 mg/dL menjadi 256,53 ± 27,51 mg/dL (p = 0,083). Uji independent t-test menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok pascaintervensi (p = 0,000). Konsumsi minuman kacang hijau dengan penambahan jahe merah efektif menurunkan kadar kolesterol total pada pasien wanita hiperkolesterolemia. Intervensi ini berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai strategi gizi berbasis pangan lokal dalam pengendalian dislipidemia di pelayanan kesehatan primer.
